Check-in is 4 pm and check-out is 11 am for Resort Rooms.
Check-in is 4 pm and check-out is 10 am for The Residences.
Yes; a $100 per night hold will be placed on a valid credit card at the time of check-in
We charge a $45 taxable resort fee that covers private beach access, beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, electric charging stations, high-speed wireless internet, in-room coffee and tea, lawn games and more.
Our Standard Deposit Policy is equal to 50% of your stay, including taxes, at the time of your booking. The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to arrival. If a reservation is booked within 7 days of arrival, 100% is charged at the time of booking.
Seasonal Policy (Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day): Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival to avoid forfeiture. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival will result in the full forfeiture of the stay including nightly rate, taxes and fees. Early departure or no-shows are considered cancellations of reserved nights and are non-refundable.
Standard Policy (September – Memorial Day Weekend): Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations received within 7 days of arrival will result in the full forfeiture of the stay. Early departures or no-shows are considered cancellations and are non-refundable.

The Deposit at the time of booking a Vacation Rental Home is 50% of the stay including taxes. The remaining balance is due thirty (14) days prior to arrival. Vacation Rental Homes are also subject to a Cancellation Policy.
Vacation Rental Seasonal Policy (Memorial Day – Labor Day): Cancellations must be made at least 60 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations received within 60 days of arrival will result in full forfeiture of the stay. Early departures or no-shows are considered cancellations and are non-refundable.
Standard Vacation Rental Policy (January – May 25 and September 4 – December): Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will result in full forfeiture of the stay. Early departures or no-shows are considered cancellations and are non-refundable.
The Resort Fee for Vacation Homes is a 5% taxable nightly fee (minimum $39 per night).
Yes. Guests staying in Vacation Rental Homes get access to all the resort’s activities and amenities.
Yes. You need to be 21.
As part of our commitment to provide the highest level of service to our guests, The Sanderling welcomes dogs staying with their owners in designated pet-friendly guestrooms and vacation homes. The fee is $300 and the maximum allowance is two (2) dogs, under 60 pounds each, per guestroom or vacation home. This fee will be added to your reservation upon check-in and is non-refundable.
The Sanderling is a smoke-free property. A $250 recovery fee will be charged for smoking in your room or vacation home.
Yes. We have three electric car chargers on-site at The Sanderling, including options for both Tesla and other electric vehicles, conveniently located in our parking lot.
Parking is available for a daily rate of $10 plus tax.
