On the Move: Tracking the Ins and Outs of California Lawyers


Orrick Herrington and Sutcliffe announced that the firm had recently promoted several of its lawyers. Amanda Galton was promoted to deputy head of Orrick’s business unit. Clement Roberts was named head of Orrick’s IP business unit and Alyssa Caridis has been appointed deputy director of the IP business unit. John Wang was promoted to deputy head of Orrick’s finance business unit. Zach Finley was appointed head of the company’s banking and finance group. Randy Perry was promoted to co-leader of Orrick’s real estate group. Shannon Yavorsky was named leader of the company’s cyber, privacy and data innovation group. Eric Wall was promoted to head of Orrick’s tax group. John Bautista was named lead dealmaker.

JAMS, the world’s largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, has announced the addition of a retired judge Ann I. Jones in Los Angeles. Jones joins JAMS after a 20-year career as a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge. During her tenure in Los Angeles Superior Court, she served in multiple assignments, including more than 12 years in Civil Unlimited Departments, Writs and Receivers, and most recently in Complex Civil Department. She previously served as a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Central District of California.
