New York Life maintains the highest possible ratings for financial strength from all major rating agencies

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–New York Life, the largest mutual life insurance company in the United States1today announced that major rating agencies Moody’s Investors Service, Standard & Poor’s, AM Best and Fitch Ratings have all confirmed that New York Life maintains the highest possible financial strength ratings.

New York Life remains one of only two life insurers with the highest financial strength ratings currently assigned to an insurer by the four major rating agencies, of all life insurers operating in the United States today. .

In June, Moody’s Investors Services confirmed New York Life’s financial strength at Aaa, the agency’s highest rating. Standard & Poor’s affirmed New York Life’s rating of AA+, the agency’s highest rating for a U.S. life insurer, in July. In September and October, AM Best and Fitch Ratings affirmed New York Life’s financial strength rating of A++ and AAA, respectively – each company’s highest possible rating.
